CODE OF ETHICS
The price of greatness comes with great responsibility. Situated at the intersection of the hospitality and travel industries, it is our duty to hold our team, vendors and members to the highest-level accountability to ensure we provide the best service.
MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT
In order to confirm your membership, we ask that you review and sign the below. Our team is at your service to support your lifestyle needs and assist with helping you experience and access the best hospitality experiences. Our memberships permit bookings for principal members only. If you are interested in obtaining assistance for others, please review our different types of membership.
AT YOUR SERVICE
Our intention is to continue to keep our community intimate and not to scale by growth in numbers, but by focusing on our member’s holistic needs. We train our team to make themselves available outside of regular office hours. However, we are all human and will always ensure we get back to you as timely as possible. We have created systems to ensure coverage is available when you need it, but we do require that our employees actually sleep! If you will be traveling to a different time zone, providing us with notice will ensure a member of our team is available to support during your trip. If you reach us after 10:00pm, your request will be responded to the following morning unless it requires urgent attention. However, our air desk operates 24/7/365 for emergencies, and is reachable by phone in over 75 countries.
DINING RESERVATIONS
Reservations are obtained through working with management at restaurants worldwide. Our team builds relationships to obtain access and to ensure our members always are set up with the best dining experience based on the occasion. There is truly no one more than us who wants to secure every reservation that you ask for, but there will be occasions where obtaining a table goes beyond factors outside of our control. You can trust that we will always elevate your requests to management teams and our team will stop at nothing to deliver. Should things not work out, you will always be set up with a great alternative that matches your preferences and expectations.
HONORING YOUR RESERVATIONS
Reservations made through Four Hundred must be attended by principal members. If you will not be in attendance, you will need to submit a non-member request, which is subject to approval by our team. This includes requests for children, friends, colleagues etc. To do so, please submit your request with the title non-member request in the subject of your email. Our promise to restaurant partners is that we will remain accountable to them in the way they are accountable to us.
If a restaurant informs us that a member was not in attendance, we may present members with a formal warning, followed by membership review. In making a reservation with Four Hundred, you agree to honor the reservation by arriving on time with the agreed upon party size. If you do not arrive within 15 minutes of your reservation and do not notify our team, the restaurant has the right to revoke your reservation, and charge a no-show fee.
CANCELLATIONS
We understand the nature of scheduling and last-minute circumstances. We kindly ask that you cancel all reservations directly through us. Our team will always include the cancellation policy for any type of booking on your confirmation. Should you have to cancel a booking within a cancellation window, our team will do their best to advocate on your behalf, in real time, to explain any extenuating circumstances. However, it is important to note that the restaurant reserves the right to charge a late cancellation fee.
FOUR HUNDRED CANCELLATION POLICY
There's nothing worse than a contact losing his/her trust in us. When a tough table is secured and then not honored, it puts us in a difficult situation with our contacts. In order to best maintain our relationships, we adhere to cancellation policies created by Four Hundred to ensure that in the event you need to cancel, the restaurant doesn't suffer a loss.
NO SHOWS
While we understand there are rare circumstances that may prevent you from not cancelling a reservation, not showing up to a reservation is detrimental to our business and the reputation of both Four Hundred and our members. In the event that you no-show a reservation, you may receive a warning from our team. If it happens more than once, Four Hundred reserves the right to terminate or suspend your membership.
TRAVEL RESERVATIONS
We know that your travel plans will likely include others and we will be happy to assist with the travel needs that you and your family or friends may have.
We are not a discount/wholesale travel agency. We pride ourselves on our relationships and the care our members receive while traveling internationally or domestically. The rates we present are the best available options that hotel management can offer, often along with amenities. If a hotel is running a discount or promotion, we will be the first to pass this information along to you. Please note that we do not book online as the rates and availability often come with limitations and restrictions.
Please note that early check-in/late checkout are always subject to availability based on a hotel's occupancy. When you request early check-in/late checkout, please know that our team will raise all the flags and take every step possible to push your request through. If early check-in/late checkout is essential, the only way to have a guarantee would be to book your room the night prior.
With regards to home and villa rentals, we work with a preferred network of trusted vendors.
TICKETED EVENTS
Due to reliability issues, we do not purchase tickets through platforms such as Stubhub. To source ticket options, we work with trusted contacts that provide reliable options. While prices might not always be comparable, it is important to note that sites like StubHub charge hidden fees that do not apply until the time of check out.
