LOULOU COURCHEVEL

Contributor — Four Hundred by Design

Loulou arrives in Courchevel 1850, bringing its signature spirit of elegance, generosity, and joy to the heart of the French Alps. Blending Alpine tradition with global influences, Loulou Courchevel offers an immersive dining and social experience that evolves throughout the day—from sunlit lunches on the terrace to lively evenings filled with music, cocktails, and convivial energy—set within one of the world’s most iconic ski destinations.

Loulou is hitting the ski slopes. The iconic destination reveals its unique character infused with mountain flair—the same generous, elegant, and joyful spirit, now at altitude.

Loulou unveils its art of entertaining in France’s most iconic ski resort, Courchevel 1850, a village where timeless sophistication goes hand in hand with the pleasures of the great outdoors. Nestled behind a vast curtain and spanning two floors, Loulou Courchevel offers a distinctive experience where Alpine traditions meet influences from around the world.

Entrusted to interior architect Corinne Sachot, the décor celebrates Savoyard culture through warm woodwork and inviting details. Curved seating with rounded backrests encourages guests to relax, whether enjoying the menu’s culinary delights or lingering over a long, leisurely meal during Christmas or New Year. This idyllic mountain venue offers sweeping views over the snow-covered Bellecôte run.

Outside, the expansive sun-drenched terrace beckons, transforming into a vibrant gathering place as the day unfolds, complete with a curated cocktail selection and DJ beats. With its playful charm, Loulou effortlessly shifts moods. While the mountain setting awakens childhood memories of first ski trips, the experience also invites guests on a journey inspired by the Rocky Mountains.

The menu highlights the cuisine of neighboring Italy alongside Loulou’s beloved classics. Truffle pizza and pasta alle vongole are showcased with Piedmont specialties, perfect for sharing or savoring solo—an ideal prelude to the indulgent dessert buffet, offering delights for both children and adults alike.

Loulou Courchevel delivers a lively ambiance throughout the day, with the bar and lounge welcoming guests from breakfast through late evening. Open to both hotel guests and non-residents, the space offers a warm and inviting setting at any hour.

Guests will also appreciate the intimate luxury of Fouquet’s Courchevel, a Palace hotel with ski-in/ski-out access to the world’s largest ski area. Featuring 42 rooms and suites that blend contemporary design with authentic Savoyard charm, Fouquet’s Courchevel offers an experience where every detail is thoughtfully curated on a delightfully human scale.
