Hotel Plaza e de Russie offers a collection of curated experiences that extend beyond the hotel itself, including the seasonal Cinque Terre by Private Boat excursion. Available from April through October, the experience provides a flexible way to explore the Ligurian coastline by sea, with itineraries tailored to weather conditions, guest preferences, and the pace of the day.
Departing from La Spezia aboard a private vessel, the experience accommodates small groups of up to six guests. Rather than following a fixed itinerary, the route is determined throughout the day, allowing the captain and crew to adapt to sea conditions and guests' interests.
The excursion lasts approximately seven to eight hours, offering time both on the water and, when desired, ashore in selected villages of the Cinque Terre.
Traveling by boat offers a different perspective of the Cinque Terre, with views of its dramatic coastline, terraced vineyards, cliffs, and secluded coves. Depending on the day's itinerary, guests may choose to stop in one or more villages for sightseeing, dining, or cultural exploration before returning to the water.
The flexible schedule allows for a balance between time spent exploring on land and relaxing aboard the vessel.
The experience is arranged exclusively through the concierge team at Hotel Plaza e de Russie, which coordinates scheduling, vessel selection, and personalized requests throughout the booking process.
Private boats are selected according to group size and availability, with boarding taking place at La Spezia harbor, where guests are welcomed by the operating crew.
The excursion operates seasonally between April and October and is subject to weather conditions and maritime regulations along the Ligurian coast. Final routing and departure details are confirmed closer to the travel date.
Ground transportation between Hotel Plaza e de Russie and La Spezia is not included but can be arranged separately through the hotel's concierge.
