To celebrate, the hotel has introduced a curated series of exclusive experiences designed to engage both guests and locals—each one reflecting the spirit, culture, and creativity of Barcelona.
THE FULL MOON EXPERIENCE: EVENINGS ABOVE THE CITY
Among the standout offerings is the Full Moon Experience, a captivating evening set on the hotel’s iconic rooftop, La Terraza del Central. Here, guests are invited to immerse themselves in the night sky, observing the moon and surrounding constellations through professional telescopes.
The experience is elevated with planetary-inspired cocktails crafted by renowned bartender Francesco Giordano, alongside a curated selection of biodynamic wines chosen by sommelier Amador Marín. These wines, produced in harmony with lunar and natural rhythms, complement the celestial theme beautifully.
With sweeping views over the Gothic Quarter and the city skyline—stretching to the Mediterranean on clear nights—the rooftop becomes a setting where astronomy, gastronomy, and atmosphere align. Guests can even capture detailed images of the moon directly on their mobile devices, creating a lasting keepsake of the evening.
The Full Moon Experience will take place on select dates, including June 28, July 26, and September 24.

As part of its centenary celebrations, Grand Hotel Central also introduces a new panoramic sauna experience—offering a fresh perspective on wellness in the city.
Set high above Barcelona, this rooftop ritual combines dry heat with a revitalizing contrast circuit. Guests move between the warmth of a volcanic stone sauna and refreshing moments under cold water or within the hotel’s iconic infinity pool. The result is a sensory journey designed to stimulate circulation, boost energy, and awaken the senses.

Alongside its anniversary celebrations, Grand Hotel Central continues to shape Barcelona’s dining scene with its signature restaurant, Can Bo vins i tapes.
Since opening in November 2024, Can Bo has quickly established itself as one of the city’s most compelling culinary destinations. Its concept reimagines traditional tapas through a refined, contemporary lens—focusing on seasonal, locally sourced ingredients and an elevated approach to sharing plates.
The restaurant’s wine program is equally impressive, featuring over 150 carefully selected labels from some of the world’s most celebrated regions, with a particular emphasis on local Spanish and Italian wines.
