DISCOVER HERMES

Contributor — Four Hundred by Design

There is more to discover aboard HERMES than a new way to cruise the Galápagos. Conceived as the only ultra-luxury superyacht of its kind in the archipelago, HERMES was designed around the idea that life aboard should be just as compelling as the extraordinary destination beyond it.

With a maximum of 20 guests and 20 crew, the yacht offers an intimate experience shaped by privacy, gastronomy, wellness, expert exploration and intuitive service. Here, discovery extends beyond the places visited. It becomes part of everyday life at sea.

A TASTE OF ECUADOR

Dining aboard HERMES offers its own introduction to the region. The Ecuadorian chef brings local flavors and culinary traditions together with international influences, creating menus that reflect the destination while offering a distinctive dining experience.

Guests can enjoy five-course dinners at Paradiso, dine outdoors at Sole e Luna or savor breakfast, lunch or dinner in the privacy of their suite, with a private ocean-view balcony as the backdrop. Each setting offers a different perspective on life aboard, whether the occasion calls for an elegant evening or a quieter meal overlooking the Pacific.

PRIVATE SUITES AND THOUGHTFUL SERVICE

Every suite features a private ocean-view balcony and Jacuzzi, creating a personal retreat that remains connected to the surrounding landscape. Dedicated butler service adds a thoughtful layer of personalization, from anticipating minibar preferences and assisting with unpacking to preparing the private Jacuzzi for a guest’s return.

These details make the experience feel less like a scheduled itinerary and more like a stay shaped around individual preferences, with the freedom to settle into life at sea at an entirely personal pace.

WELLNESS AT SEA

Wellness aboard HERMES is an invitation to find a rhythm that feels right in the moment. Guests can retreat to the spa or hammam, spend time in the fitness room or simply enjoy a quiet stretch of time on deck.

Rather than filling every hour with activity, the experience leaves room for both movement and stillness. Whether unwinding after a day of exploration or enjoying a slower morning on the water, guests have the space to make each day their own.

A CLOSER LOOK AT THE GALÁPAGOS

When it is time to explore beyond the yacht, expert naturalist guides bring the Galápagos to life. With one guide for every 10 guests, smaller groups allow for more personal conversations, thoughtful questions and closer observation of the archipelago’s remarkable wildlife and landscapes.

The sense of discovery continues back aboard, whether through conversations with naturalists, time spent reflecting on the day or a quiet moment in the privacy of a suite. The destination remains part of the experience long after each excursion ends.

THE INSIDER RECOMMENDATION

Leave room in the itinerary to discover HERMES itself. Try an Ecuadorian flavor for the first time, continue a conversation with a naturalist after returning aboard, spend an afternoon in the hammam or enjoy a private meal on the balcony. Sometimes, the most memorable moments come from watching the world unfold from an ocean-view Jacuzzi, without feeling the need to move on to what comes next.

Because aboard HERMES, the Galápagos is only part of the discovery. The yacht itself is a destination.
