FOUR HUNDRED’S MARCH HIT LIST – NYC DINING

Contributor - Ximena Lascurain | Lifestyle Consultant • 3/19/26

As we move into March 2026, the New York City dining landscape is experiencing a "Spring Awakening" characterized by bold, live-fire concepts and a revival of "power dining" in unexpected places.

Based on current lifestyle trends and recent high-tier openings, here is the curated Four Hundred Hit List of where you need to be seen (and fed) this month.

1. 10CUBED

The Power Table

Location: Midtown (Central Park Tower, 100th Floor)

The Vibe: High-altitude exclusivity.

While the 360-degree views of Central Park are the initial draw, Chef Salaam’s kitchen is proving that 1,000 feet in the air can still produce grounded, complex fine dining. It has quickly become the city’s newest "power table" for those who find the Grill too grounded.

2. OR’ESH

The SoHo Sensation

Location: SoHo (West Broadway)

The Vibe: Live-fire Levantine chic.

Helmed by Chef Nadav Greenberg, Or’Esh is the most coveted reservation in SoHo right now. The menu focuses on wood-roasted seafood and vibrant, vegetable-forward dishes. The open-fire kitchen adds a dramatic, sensory layer to the sleek, maximalist design.

3. WILD CHERRY

The Downtown Darling

Location: West Village (Bedford Street)

The Vibe: Playful, polished, and quintessential New York.

From the legendary team behind Frenchette and Le Veau d’Or, this spot is connected to the iconic Cherry Lane Theatre. It’s a "theatrical" dining experience in the best way, serving everything from frogs' legs Kiev to one of the most talked-about cheeseburgers in the city.

4.  FREVO

The Hidden Gem

Location: Greenwich Village

The Vibe: Intimate, artistic, and mysterious.

Tucked behind an art gallery, this counter-seated tasting menu concept has recently secured its Michelin status. It remains a favorite for Four Hundred members who prefer a "discovery" feel over a flashy entrance.

5. DEAN’S

The Spring Newcomer

Location: SoHo (Targeting April Opening)

The Vibe: British coastal pub meets refined SoHo.

Set to open this month, Dean’s is bringing something NYC has lacked: a relaxed, seafood-forward British spot. With Guinness on tap and classic coastal fare, it’s the "new classic" we’re watching closely as the weather warms.

Prior to Four Hundred she worked in the kitchens of several Michelin star restaurants throughout Mexico, Spain and NY. What she enjoys the most when it comes to travel, is doing a lot of research. Specially when it comes to the "hidden gems" for local food and specialty coffee.
